“Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in every things, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. "

Family is the institution from where a society emanates. Family is created and installed as an institution by God with His blessings, guidance and supervision (Genesis 1: 26 – 31; 2: 18-25). Christ has taught in depth on family and union of a man and a woman in marriage as one flesh (Matthew 19: 1 – 12). The family is seen as a symbol of the communion between Christ and Church, which shows the respect, honor, dignity, destiny and quality of the family. The Church must follow this basic truth and fact and work on the issue of family with especial concern and concentration. Hence, the OECC inventively take the family ministry with the specific objectives:

• To build up the family in the profound true teaching of the Bible and basic Christian teachings,
• To encourage in family fellowship and prayer,
• To enhance love, harmony, fellowship, unity, integrity, etc. in the family,
• To assist the family to carry one another’s burden that encounters in life with the intention to accomplish the command of the Lord,
• To build up happy, successful, prosperous family that support each other through hard working,
• To visit the family occasionally and give relevant counseling and advice in relation to faith and family responsibility,
