OECC

OUTREACH MINISTRY

“The Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching the to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28: 18 -20

It is this great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ that is making the Church to reach out to people in the world with the gospel of the Kingdom of God. As the Lord Jesus Christ commissioned the Church:
“… and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”             Acts 1: 18.
The OECC is taking the outreach ministry with her full capacity in two directions;

  1. Inward Evangelism – by which the OECC strengthen her own believers/member to be deep rooted in the knowledge of the Bible and grow and bear overwhelming spiritual fruits.
  2. Outward Evangelism – by which the OECC reach out to those who do not know Jesus Christ as their saviour. The Church will go out to the non-believers, the Oromo as well as other nationalities and work hard to convert them to the faith in God. This will be done in Calgary, Oromia, Africa, Middle East Countries, and so on where the Oromo people are living.

“He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer, and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name, to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised, --”
Luke 24: 48 – 48
